This family must have been in severe fina cial straits as Casper's worth was listed with no real estate and onl y $50 of personal property. They had moved from Ohio to Missouri betw een 1852 and 1854, by 1857 they were in Iowa. The birth dates on th e children, through Silas, must be off as there were no children bor n by 1850.
