"Casper Remsburg was a native of MD, who came to Sandusky Co. in 1822, and settled on the Muskallonge, where he lived as a farmer until 1849, when he died in the sixty-third year of his age. He married Mary Bowlus, also of MD, who is still living (as of 1882), being now in her eighty-ninth year. She is the mother of ten children, nine of whom arrived at maturity.
