Also spelled Hoedt was a taylor(sic) who came from New York toPhiladelphia probably before 1690. In 1691 he bought from AbrahamHardiman for Ð45 the northernmost half of Hardiman s Front St. lot nearlymidway between Chestnut and High Sts. He was rated on a Estate estimatedat Ð120 in 1693. Mentions his daughter Elizabeth in a will dated in 1732
