Mrs. Carrie M. Huntley

Mrs. Carrie Mowen Huntley, 74, Eustis, Fla., died at her summer home here, 807 Kinsman NW, at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. She was the wife of Burt W. Huntley.

Born in Cleveland, Sept. 27, 1875, a daughter of Seneca and Jennie Mowen, she came to West Framington as a young girl. She married Burt W. Huntley on June 24, 1897.

Mrs. Huntley was a member of the West Farmington Methodist Church, past worthy matron of the Alpha Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, West Farmington; past chief of the Pythian Sisters, and charter member of Western Reserve Past Matrons' Assn., organized in 1913. She also was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star at Tavares, Fla.

The body is at the Hitchcock Funeral Home in West Farmington where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Friends will be received by the family at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
