Carolyn Crumrine, 80, of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 2025 Spruce, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 3, 2004) in the home.
Born Dec. 6, 1923, in Shelby County, Mo., Carolyn was a daughter of Harold and Jessie Boling White. She married Fred W. Crumrine on Jan, 17, 1944, in Fayetteville, N. C. He died Aug. 19, 2000.
Mrs. Crumrine was a member of the Crossing and the Salvation Army Auxiliary and was a graduate of Clarence High School.
She was employed as a nurse's aid in private homes in Quincy for more than 10 years, retiring in 1984.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Myers of Kansas City, Mo., and Pamela June Ray and her husband, Bobby, of Carthage, MO.; a son, Ray Crumrine and his wife, Patricia, of Quincy; six grandchildren, John W. Myers and his wife, Stephanie, of Havelock, N. C., Deanna Louise Hendrix and her husband, James, of Overland Park, Kan., Allan Terry Myers of Kansas City, Mo., Jennifer Lynn Crunrine of Streamwood, Travis Ray Crumrine of Chicago and David Alex Crunrine of Quincy; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Floyd "Hank" White.
