Published in the Star Tribune from 10/5/2003 - 10/6/2003. Huntington Carol F. Huntington, age 78, long time resident of Edina, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003 at Wellstead of Rogers. Survived by husband of 56 years, William; sons, Jim (Linda), David; brother, Jim (Ann) Sage of Waterloo, IA; grandchildren, Erik, Chad, Kaia, Neil; great-grandchild, Tucker; niece and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Born November 2, 1924 the daughter of Ernest and Frances Sage. Graduate of East High in Waterloo, IA and Iowa State Teachers College - now the University of Northern Iowa. She was honored to be a member of Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1946. After marriage in 1947 she devoted her energies to being an outstanding wife and mother. Carol also enjoyed church volunteer activities, knitting and making miniatures. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 pm at Werness Brothers Funeral chapel, 3500 W. 50th St., Mpls. Funeral service Wednesday 11 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 12th St. at Nicollet Mall, Mpls. Private interment. Memorials preferred to Westminster Presbyterian Church or donor's choice.
