Carol Ann Werner, 65, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Laureldale, died unexpectedly September 10, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Stephen C. Werner. They were married August 25, 1978. Born in Neffs, PA, she was a daughter of the late Franklin H. and Grace E. (Lauchnor) Hausman.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, FL, where she was a member of the church choir, and a former member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Reading, where she was a member of the church consistory and choir. Carol was a 1965 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School and a graduate of the former Reading Business Institute. She was a self employed medical transcriptionist for eight years, retiring in December 2002. Prior to that, she worked as a secretary and medical transcriptionist for various doctor's offices throughout the Reading area.
Carol enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needle point, making crafts, and being a member of the prayer shawl ministry.

SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at a later date in First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, FL. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
