BELTON - Carol Jeanette Dukes, 70, of Belton, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 6:44PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Dukes was born November 29, 1946, in Hopkins County. She was a retired registered nurse and member of Forest Oak Baptist Church. She was a mother to many and loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Dukes; son Derek Dukes; daughter Marlena Dukes; parents Hershel and Katie Croxton; brothers James Croxton and Dennis Croxton; and sister Martha Nelson.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Hardison of Drakesboro; grandchildren Tori (Chester) Robertson, Kayla (Jacob) Bruce, Ashton Crowder, and Dravin Dukes; great-grandchildren Gabriel Robertson and Liam Bruce; sisters Jean (Jerry) Smith of Drakesboro, Helen (Mike) Bivins of Greenville, and Doris Roso of Greenville; brother Donnie Croxton of Drakesboro; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Troy Freeman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Vernon Cook officiating. Burial in Forest Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
