Per Mrs. Mildred Elchert, Jan. 1969, Charlotte's right name was Arlet ta Samantha, She didn't like that name so she changed it to Charlotte . The family called her "Lottie". Mrs. Clara Huffman gave me this inf ormation, altho I had heard my father speak of Arletta Samantha and i n a teasing way said that's how his brother got the name of Arlington

Renninge r, died of Hypertention/cerebral hemmorhage; obit: "Mrs. Charlotte Re nninger 63, widow of Jonas Renninger who died less than 3 weeks ago o n Jan. 24, 1946 followed her husband in death Tues. Feb. 12, 1946 i n the family home at 121 Nelson St. She had been in frail health fo r the last 2 years & was critically ill for the last week. Her deat h is attributed to a heart condition. Mrs. Renninger was born at Basc om Jan. 14, 1883 to Alexander & Minerva Mathews Feasel. She was marr . here Nov. 18, 1899 to Jonas F. Renninger. Surviving are the followi ng sons & dtrs.: Mrs. Fred Decker, Oakmont, Pa.; Mrs. Theo Bish, Brad ner, OH; Mrs. Mabel Moohr, Toledo; Mrs. Hubert Abel and Mrs. Harol d Peck both of Tiffin, Mrs. Nevin Haudenschild Republic, Mrs. John Lo c kard Washington Courthouse; William, George and Jonas F. Jr. all o f Tiffin; & Robert of New Riegel; a brother, Wilbur Feasel and 3 sist ers Mrs. Casper Ryman, Mrs. Clarence Huffman & Mrs. Ruth Lyman all o f Tiffin; 54 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 4children are d eceased. Mrs. Renninger was a member of the First English Lutheran Ch urch. Funeral services will be Sat. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cem."
