Birth record of Carl Michael Friedrich Strahl born on 16 February and baptized 19 February 1781 is recorded in Evangelical Church Book of Neddemin, Germany; sponsors at the baptism were Carl Wendt a farmer, Michael Warncke a shepher and the wife of the inhabitant Kruter. Marriage of Carl Strahl and Regina Brun is found in Wulkenzin registers as is the birth of their son Jochen Friedrich Theodor Strahl, born 15 December at 6 a.m. and baptized 22 December 1816 by Minister Gors; born to Carl Strahl, dayworker in Blankenhof and Regine, born Brun, from Gevezin; sponsors were Jochen Fanselow and Friedrich Schmit, both dayworkers, and Sophie Hinzpeter, stable head's daughter from Blankenjof." Same records give the 27 February 1777 baptism of Maria Regina Bruhn; sponsors were J. Bruhn, Mrs. Bruhn, and Mrs. Hacker. The same recordsgive 26 August 1802 baptism of Anna Carolina Ernestina; sponsors were Ernst Brun, farmhand, Anna Reewald and Carolina Christina Brun. Also 5 October 1806 baptism of Maria Dorothea Friedrika whose sponsors were Roloff, Mrs. Borren and Sophia Meier, all from Blankenhof. Also 7 January 1810 baptism of Joann Friedrich Ludwig whos sponsors were Elert, dayworker from Blankenhof, Friedrich Bachschmidt from Zamen, both from parish of Helle. Also Jochen Friedrich Theodor baptized 22 December 1816; sponsors were Jochen Fanselow, Friedrich Schmit, and sophia Hinzpeter. Also Maria Carolina Christian Dorothea . . . The same records give dealth of "Regina Bruhn, wife of the dayworker Strahl, bron in Gevezin, 41 years, died of stuffy cough (tuberculosis) at 5 a.m., 30 January 1829 in Blankenhof and was buried 2 February 1829." Also death of Carl Strahl, dayworker, 89 years old, died of old age in Blankenhof, 8 a.m., 6 June 1867 and buried 8 June 1867. Same records give the marriage of, "Carl Michael Strahl, day worker and widower, legitimate son of Friedrich Strahl, dayworker from Podewall; and Catharina Maria Hinrich, legitimate daughter of the farmer Hinrichs from Teetzleben - after banns 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Epiphanias in Gevezin marriage occured 5 February 1830." Also the death of "Catherina Maria Hinrichs, wife of dayworker Strahl, 48 years, born in Teetzleben, died of tumor 23 October 1830 at 9 a.m. and buried 26 October 1830 in Blankenhof." Daughter Anna Carolina Ernestine Strahl died 27 October of magenentzundung in Blankenhof; she married ca 1827 to Carl Friedrich Schultz, day laborer. |
