Person:Carl Poppino (1)

Carl earned a BS in EE at the Universityy of Kansas in 1926. He was employed by the General Electric Company as an engineer, sales engineer, and manager of sales offices in New York, South America, Minnesota, California and Arizona until retirement in 1959. He then earned the degrees of BA and MA in sociology at Arizona State University in 1965 and 1967. He was an officer in the Ordnance Department, US Army Reserve from 1927 to 1930. Carl, in collaboration with Paul Bowman Popenoe, put together the first genealogy of the Popenoe/Poppino families 1969/1973, on which much of the material herein about the Poppino line is based.
