Patriarchal Blessing given by Theodore Brandley, Patriarch, upon the head of Carl C. Conradsen, son of Rasmus S. and Karen Conradsen. Born March 4, 1878 at Denmark.

Brother Carl, in the name of Jesus Christ and in the authority of the Holy Melchizidek Priesthood, I lay my hands upon thy head and seal upon thee thy Patriarchal Blessing. Thou art of the house of Israel through the loins of Ephriam and if thou wilt be faithful in keeping the commandments of God and live a righteous and upright life thou shalt be blessed in thy body and in thy spirit and receive the testimony of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God will direct thee in all the walks of life and lead thee from day to day in the ways that thou shouldst go. Be prayerful and earnest in all thy labors and the Lord will open the way before thee and give unto thee power to accomplish the mission for which thou hast been sent on earth. The Lord will bless thee with faith and thou shalt yet bear witness unto many people concerning Jesus the Savior and the Gospel of the Son of God. In due time the Lord will bless thee, and make of thee one of His servants and messengers to proclaim the Gospel and thou shalt receive many testimonies of the power of God made manifest in thy behalf and in behalf of Israel. Thou shalt be a father in Israel and the Lord will bless thee in thine outgoings and incomings.

As a servant of the Lord I bless thee with the blessings of health and strength and say unto thee keep thyself free and unspotted from the sins of the world and the powers of evil shall not prevail against thee. Thou shalt have power and strength given unto thee to resist temptation and evil in whatever shape or form the same may present itself before thee. Be faithful in all that the Lord may require at thy hands and thou shalt blessed with wisdom and understanding and every gift and blessing necessary and requisite for the accomplishment of the work our Father has designed for thee. Our Father in Heaven will grant unto thee every righteous desire of thy heart.

I seal thee up unto eternal life to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection and receive power and dominion with the redeemed of Israel. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
