Former Fremonter Carl O Bliss, 88, of Bonita Springs, Fla, died Saturd ay in Fort Myers, Fla.

He was born in Fremont to Max G and Tessie (Nason) Bliss and married Haz el M Metter on Sept. 14, 1935. She died in 1984.

Mr. Bliss was a truck driver for CCC, Red Star Trucking and the Fremont Kr aut CO He had also worked at the former East Side Cafe.

He was a member of the Fremont Moose, Elks, Eagles, VFW Post 2947 and DA DS Post 14.

Surviving are sons Robert E and Bill Bliss and brother Edward L "Jack" Bli ss, all of FL, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is al so preceded by his parents, and brother Eldrige "Pete" Bliss.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Wonderly-Horvath Funer al Home.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Quill en officiating.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.

Memorials: Donor's choice.
