Calvin Morgan (C. M.) was born about 1808, the son of Randolph Rutherford Sr. (abt.1758-bef.1841) and Polly Rutherford. He was a nationally known slave trader in the 19th century.
M Rutherford showed owning slaves (i.e. owner or consignee) sent by David Cume from Richmond, Virginia to New Orleans, Louisiana upon the ship John A Lancaster.[1]
