Note from Lee Lance Albright: Calvin left his home in Graham, North Carolina in 1866, living a few years in Louisiana and Mississippi. He arrived in Memphis in 1872. He left Memphis in 1876, but returned in 1885, and has since made his home there. For several years he has been agent for the Southern Express Company. He has the reputation of being one of the best agents in the employ of this great corporation. |
