Facts and Events
From Bob Parkison: Burrell's father, William Evan Jackson is listed as early as the 1810 census through 1850 as living in Bath County; therefore, Burrell's birth location is accepted as Bath County. A Baptist "Came to the wilds of Decatur County in 1821 in company with the family of his wife's parents (Becraft) and all made a permanent settlement in Washington township.
