- Although no marriage is indicated on this page, it is clear it is intended to represent the person belonging to this gravestone. The memorial asserts no parents, but places the birth in Brookfield, even though no such birth is recorded there. Further, the family register of the current family Family:Joseph Banister and Mary Hinds (1) found in Brookfield top of p. 107 does not show any such daughter in this family. Further, the marriage is not found in Brookfield, but in Chesterfield (VRs, p. 149), which suggests it might be a family from that area. The will of the father mentions no such daughter (it mentions almost no children), but it can be shown that the father was dismissed to the church in Chesterfield in 1771 (and later onto Goshen) and the birthdate could fit in this family, so it is possible. But more evidence is needed.
