Brunetta (Raffaelli) Blystone was born on December 2, 1925 in Viareggio, Tuscany, Italy, the daughter of the late Achille Raffaelli and Velia (Pini) Raffaelli.
She was married on January 8, 1949 to Glenn Charles Blystone Sr (1928-1992), the son of Nancy Jane (Laughner) (Blystone) Allshouse (1905-1996) and her 1st husband Glenn Meredith Blystone (1906-1945). [NOTE 1- Brunetta and Glenn had met in Italy after World War II, as he had served in the US Army from June 1946 until June 1949. NOTE 2- Nancy was married 1st to Glenn on June 10, 1925 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and later as a widow, she was married 2nd on June 30, 1953 in Westmoreland County, as the 2nd wife of widower Harry Erskine Allshouse (1893–1980). AND, Harry had been married 1st on June 19, 1918 in Westmoreland County to Ethel Marian France (1895–1950).]
Brunetta was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nashville and was a resident of 1208 Russell Street, Nashville for 59 years. She was 89 years old when she passed away on April 13, 2014 at NHC in Murfreesboro.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, she was survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, two sons and a daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, ten grandsons and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Burial was in historic Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
