Brenda L Lemke July 21, 1964 -- Jan. 26, 2004

On this cold winter day, Jan. 26, 2004, a little more color and beauty h as left this world. Beautiful wife and loving mother Brenda Lemke, 39, h as gone to join the angels she enjoyed drawing.

Brenda lost her battle with cancer. We were fortunate to have had her f or 15 years. She was the best thing to ever happen to us. Brenda bested ca ncer 20 years ago. We are so thankful for those years. The time we had tog ether would never had been enough.

In her life, Brenda was beautiful inside and out. Her love of life was be st demonstrated through her love of family and friends. She also created m any incredible works of art. She will live on in her son, her family, h er friends and her art.

Surviving her is husband Bill; son Yob; siblings Lynn Foos, Dan Ickes, Chr is Ickes, Gin Belcher, Deb Hunker, Bob Ickes and Becky Watt. She is preced ed by her parents Donald and Eleanore Ickes of Fremont.

We wish to thank the many friends who have helped us through these difficu lt two years. It is our wish not to receive flowers. Instead, if you wis h, donations for Yob's education or a brick at the Toledo Zoo.

Brenda's empty shell was cremated. We will have a party to celebrate her l ife in her home at 4 p.m. Feb. 28.
