B.E. ZARTMAN IS DEAD AFTER LONG ILLNESS
He Had Been Traveling Salesman for 16 Years.
B.E. Zartman, 126 W. 7th street, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, following an illness of three months. His condition became serious two weeks ago, and since that time he has been confined to his bed. He leaves a widow and one daughter, Miss Katherine Zartman.
Born in Jamestown, Ohio in 1855, Mr. Zartman came west in the early days. He made his home at Wichita, Kan., and sixteen years ago, came with his family to Oklahoma City, where he made his headquarters in traveling over the state for the Loose-Wiles Biscuit company of Kansas City.
Mr. Zartman was a member of the United Commercial Travelers, of the Masonic lodge and was a Knight Templar.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the Street & Draper chapel.
Friday morning the body will be taken to Wichita for burial.
