Bradford J. Hineman, 79, Reedsburg Times Press - published January 20, 2007 Bradford J. Hineman, 79 of Reedsburg, died on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at University Hospital in Madison. He was born on May 27, 1927, in the Town of Ironton, the son of Bradford M. and Edna (nee Stoll) Hineman. Brad was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy. On Feb. 3, 1951, he was married to the former Mary E. Courtier. Brad worked as a mechanic at Berning Garage for over 40 years. He loved camping, walking, spending time with his family and taking long rides in the country. Survivors include his wife, Mary; eight children, Mike (Diane) Hineman of Reedsburg, Larry (Karla) Hineman of Belleair, Fla., Polly (Bernard) Strutz of Reedsburg, Dan (Ruth) Hineman of Reedsburg, Jeanne (Dale) Herritz of Reedsburg, Kent Hineman of Reedsburg, Peter Hineman of New Castle, Ind. and Pam (Joe) Sander of Reedsburg; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his best friend, Peaches; four sisters-in-law, Edna Hineman of Lime Ridge, Chizuko Hineman of Mary Esther, Fla., Yvonne (Norm) Liegel of Plain and Gail Deters of Baraboo; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Joshua Hineman; three brothers, Clinton, Ralph and Myron; and one sister, Vera McLain. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Reedsburg with Rev. Joseph Corbin officiating. Military rites will be accorded by the Reedsburg V.F.W. Post 1916 following the service. The family will receive friends from 3 until 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family. |
