Brad J. Laughner, 28, of Chesapeake, Virginia and formerly of Warren, Pa., died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at his residence.
He was born June 15, 1979 in Warren, Pa. and was a 1998 graduate of Warren High School. He has resided in Chesapeake, Va. for the past seven years, where he was employed as a welder with the Alfa Laval, Company.He was an avid BMX and Motocross enthusiast.
He is survived by his parents, James A. and Betsy A. Powell Laughner of Branson, Missouri; one sister, Jodi DiPlenti and her husband, Brad of Chesapeake, Va.; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Swanson and her husband, Chuck of Warren, Pa.; one niece, Jessica DiPlenti and one nephew, Jimmy DiPlenti, both of Chesapeake, Va.; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry Powell; paternal grandparents, James W. Laughner and Gloria L. Cicuzza Laughner Tietjen.
