A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Milton for Boyden L. Crouch, M.D., who died on May 28 in Phoenix, AZ.
Boyden Crouch was born in Nortonville, Kan., on December 14, 1920, the youngest child of Ansel and Jessie Langworthy Crouch. He came to Milton in the autumn of 1938 to attend Milton College, from which he graduated in 1943. On March 3, 1944, he married Mary Stringer, daughter of Prof. L. H. and Ruth Stringer of Milton.
Dr. Crouch received his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School in 1946 and completed training in anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic in 1955. He practiced as an anesthesiologist in Phoenix from 1956 until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother, Robert. Survivors include two sisters, Harriet Mauro of Hamden, Conn., and Rachel Guerry of Kingstree, S. C.; his wife, Mary, and son, Robert. His wife and son are presently visiting friends in Milton.
