[edit] WillLast Will of Boyd McCrary (abstracted). In the State of North Carolina and Buncombe Co., “very sick:, requests Christian burial by wife . . . all debts paid. To wife, Nancy . . 50acres of land including orchard of peach and apple trees, dwelling house, barn, mill stable and smoke house, farming utensils, furniture, two slaves, Henry and Hagar, all the horses and cattle, hogs, sheep . . Upon her death the all moveable property to sons John and james . .also lands on the north side of Bain Creek wagons and stills . . To sons Benjamin and Elijah the land on the south side of Bain Creek. To Grandson Silas McCreary, son of Joseph McCrary, dec’d . . 55 acres . . Three Grandsons, Hans, Hohn, and Hugh sons of William McCreary dec’d . . $100.00 divided among them. $100.00 to Hugh (son) to be discharged by two free-holders to be paid within 4 years after my death by John and James McCrary . .
