Boswell Stocls was Sales Manager for Jaeger in Edinburgh for mny years, The time came when theyh decided to modernise their premises. In addition to everything else they added a reception lounge with a bar, Boswell Stocks who was a teetotaller refuse to continue in his position if the bar remained. Jaeger refusedd to change so Boswell Stocks left. Hethen started up as a self employed salesman selling mainly ties from Ireland. In this he was quite successful. As hegot older things became difficult and his wife became senile. He keptgoing however until he died. Je was veery stricken on the death of his son Harold. Haro;d went down with his ship during the war. After his wife died he was looked after byFanny. There was a time when, it looked as if he would marry her but he died.
