Children of Capt. John Jackson and first wife Hannah Staunton: Borodell, b. Aug. 1711. Will of Capt. John Jackson, dated 1747-8, names daughter Borodell, wid. of Samuel Jackson Esq.
[Note: Jackson says p. 352 that wid. Borodell m. 27 Jun 1751 Thomas Prentice and "d. 1766, and her son, Capt. Samuel Jackson, admin on her estate". Besides the death record in 1756 to the contrary, Case 17956 of Middlesex Probate, "Borredel Prentice, 1757", on 14 Mar 1757, Thomas Prentice of Newton Esq'r posted bond as "administrator of the Estate of his Late wife Borridel Prentice late of Newton". Given the death of Thomas Prentice soon after this, in 1760, perhaps Samuel Jackson was appointed administrator de bonis non in 1766 to finish administration (the bond is the only paper in this particular probate file) but she clearly did not die in 1766.]
