She was 70 years old. She had lived in this general area her entire life and was a retired beautician. She was a member of the Cowgill Baptist Church. On April 17, 1931 she was united in marriage to Thomas Hugh Stoner and to this union one dauther was born. Her first husband died in July of 1980 and she was married to Ray Farmer of Cowgill on February 22, 1982. Survivors include her husband, Ray, of the home; daughter, Mrs. Joyce Lobb and husband , Bob Lobb, of Norborne; one brother, Beryl Jackson of Pryor, Okla., and two sisters, Luettice Baker of Quincy, Ill., and Dorothea Stoner of Ft. Benton, Mont.; four grandchildren, Jill McClure, Kim Foley, Lori Lobb and Tommy Lobb, all of Norborne; five great-grandchildren, Scott, Heather, Travis and Bret McClure and Jeni Foley, all of Norborne. Preceding in death besides her parents are three brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, December 26 at 2 p.m. at the Pitts Chapel in Braymer, with the Rev. Elton Rice officiating. Rev. and Mrs. Lamar Harper sang "How Great Thou Art", accompanied by Mary Wheeler, organist. Pallbearers were Clint Jackson, Karl Bowles, Marshall Dean Stonum, Mike Farmer, Bob Dunham and Mike McClure. Burial was in the Cowgill Cemetery under direction of Pitts Funeral Service of Braymer.
