   Bluford Davidson was the son of Andrew D. and Sarah (Muse) Davidson. His parents were early Pioneers of Bedford County when it was still a wilderness and the only township was Shelbyville. His parents moved south west from the Wythe County, Va to Pulaski County, KY before settling in Bedford County by 1814. Bluford married Susan White daughter of Thomas & Margaret (McGarrah) White of which six children were born. Thomas Andrew Davidson, Margaret Ann Davidson, Sarah Jane Davidson, Martha Elizabeth Davidson, Tennessee "Tennie" Virginia Davidson and Isaac Carr Davidson.
