A document dated 31 Jan 1337 appears to describe a court case resulting from a feud (ættestriden). One party was Torleiv Saksabjørnsson and his son Bjørn, as well as Bjørn Saksabjørnsson and other people from Lindheim. The opposing party consisted of Erling Haukvik, Tord Låvell and his son Steinulv, and relatives from Haukvik. Both parties complained of murder, weapon damage and various other offenses.
