Enlisted at Hinsdale, Cheshire, NH ca 15 Feb 1776; served under Capt. Daniel Carlisle; was at Crown Point, Quebec and at the taking of St. John's. Now resides Easton, Washington, NY. Testimony on Feb. 22, 1822 states he was carpenter by trade; will be age 68 on 3d of April next; wife Hannah is age 67.
