Came to IndianTerritory in 1885, and moved to Cleveland Co. in 1936, residing in Pleasant Hill Community since that date. Ordained a Baptist minister in 1914, and conducted evangelistic meetings all over the state. Served as a peace officer in Grady, McClain and Colgate Counties. Social Security Number 443-18-4419 Held a life membership in Dibble Church Association, and was a 32nd degree Mason. Frances (Munkus) Pelfrey says BC and LE (Ragsdale) Munkus were married while driving in a car. Bought house and acreage from Tommy Argo on February 26, 1944, for $300.00 which he paid for by check. He lived there and raised his family there. (Frances has original cancelled check) Died at home on September 15, 1951 at age 74 years, 9 months, 26days. Funeral services held Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Buried in Moore Cemetery, Moore, OK in lot 35, block 4, on September 18, 1951 at 2:45 p.m.
