    Beverly Payne, age 82, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital.

    Beverly had worked as a bookkeeper for Old National Bank and had been Treasurer of the Howell Booster Club and President of the Howell Booster Club Women's Club.

    She was an avid bowler and loyal supporter of the University of Southern Indiana.

    Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Jerry Payne; a daughter, Chris Branch of Rockport, IN and three sons, Stephen (Beverly) Knight of Princeton, IN, Terry (Sherry) Payne of Indianapolis, IN and Tim (Lynn) Payne of Knob Noster, MO. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a lifelong friend, Doris Jean Clark.

    Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Mickie Hoffman in 2003 and a son, Richard Wayne Knight in 1968.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Pierre Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery.
