Betty J. Stadler was born June 24, 1926, in Latrobe, a daughter of Frank M. and Iona (Loughner) Stadler.
Betty married Regis Francis Felbaum, and they became the parents of two sons and a daughter.
She was employed and retired as a fifth floor ward clerk by Latrobe Area Hospital. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Latrobe, where she sang in the choir. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother.
At the age of 86, Betty J. (Stadler) Felbaum, of Ligonier, formerly of Youngstown, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Regis Francis Felbaum, in December 1984; and a sister, Gloria Stadler Mitchell.
She was survived by three children, Frank Felbaum and his life partner, James Benson, of Harrisburg, Patricia Kunkle, of Youngstown, and John Felbaum and his wife, Pamela, of North Grafton, Mass.; and four granddaughters, Sharon Kunkle and her life companion, Michael Naeger, of Latrobe, Marlene Kunkle, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jessica Felbaum and Emily Felbaum, both of Massachusetts. She also will be sadly missed by her feline companion, Little Ben.
