VAN ARKEL, Betty July 25, 1928 - December 2, 2023
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Betty Van Arkel on December 2, 2023. Reunited with her beloved husband Gus (1976). Loving mother to Susan Van Arkel, David Van Arkel (Narelle) and Brenda George (Michael). Caring grandmother to Matt Van Arkel, Alicia Van Arkel, Libby George and Andrew George. Pre-deceased by sisters Doris Johnson, Joyce McLachlan, Sandra Durrant and brother Jim McRae. Betty will also be greatly missed by many family members and friends and the caring staff at Watford Quality Care Nursing Home. Donations may be made in Betty's memory to any charity of your choice that supports people in need. Visitation will take place at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home (1525 Highway #3) on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday December 7, 2023 from 12:00p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00p.m. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens will follow.
