Betty B. (Andree) Loughner Earhart, 88, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 17, 2016, at home with her devoted family by her side. She was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Dora (Stevenson) Andree. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She and her first husband, Albert, formed Loughner Well Drilling, Greensburg, and she was also employed by Charley Bros., Greensburg. She later retired from the accounting department at Kennametal and with her second husband, Norman, co-founded Earhart Trucking. Betty was Lutheran by faith. She loved horses, dogs, cats, chickens and trail riding. She was a member of the Quarter Horse Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert E. Loughner; second husband, Norman M. Earhart; and brothers, Harrold and Daniel Andree. Betty will be dearly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her daughters, Gail A. Miscovich and her husband, Robert, of Greensburg, and Joyce E. McCullough and her husband, Wesley, of Glenrock, Wyo.; stepsons, William Earhart and his wife, Tracy, of New Alexandria, and Norman M. Earhart Jr. and his wife, Yvonne, of Blairsville; brother, Robert H. Andree and his wife, Melvina, of Greensburg; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Betty's family would like to express their gratitude to her dedicated caregivers, Pat, Theresa and Trisha, for the loving and compassionate care she received from them. Also, heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Donna, a special family friend, for everything she did for Betty.
Family and friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Dr., Delmont (724-468-1177). Funeral and committal services for Betty will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, with the Rev. Robert B. Free officiating. Private interment will be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
