Her father was Day, Elkanah (Col.) 3 Feb 1761 - 23 Jan 1813 Son of David Day; Member of State Militia. He is buried in the Warsaw Village Pioneer Cemetery.

Mother was Day, Polly (McWhorter) 20 Jul 1767 - 1819 Wife of Col. Elkanah Day; dau. of John McWhorter. She is also buried in the Warsaw Village Pioneer Cemetery.

Bethiah shares a four sided tombstone with David and his second wife, Phebe.


She is presumed to have been with her father. In the 1810 census, his numbers were 4-1-0-0-1-1-0-1-0-1

Children with Bethiah Day i. Polly Fargo was born about 1810. Married Chauncey Kimball of Warsaw, since resided in Springville and Boston, then Baraboo, Wisc. Had eight children. ii. David W. Fargo was born on 7 Aug 1811 in Warsaw, Ny and died on 10 Feb 1814 in Warsaw, Ny.


Son Myron's obituary said he was "the 6th son in a family of 12 children born to the late David and Pheobe Mason Fargo". David Mason's (another son) obituary has "his death is the first break in the ranks of a large family circle of children, in nearly 50 years. Of 12 children, 3 died in infancy, and the remaining 9 reached adulthood."
