Bethia Tubbs may have married Samuel Chapman. See the Parkhurst Papers in New London, CT. Also check F. W. Chapman's Chapman Family for more information.

She was married to Samuel Chapman (son of William Chapman I) in 1687/88 in Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA. (Gordon Alan Morris, correspondent in GenServe Data Base MORO6NA.) Samuel Chapman was born about 1655 in Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA.

From Joseph Chapman of Norwich and Colchester, Connecticut A Historical Reconciliation, by Philip Chapman Ellsworth

First Congregational Church of Colchester records, which were kept beginning in 1732, have no marriage record entry for Benajah Tubbs. The only observed First Congregation Church of Colchester marriage entry involving a Tubbs and a Chapman, up through 1755, is that of Samuel Tubs and Ann Chapman, who were married in January 1751. It should be noted that Joseph Chapman's brother, Samuel Chapman, who resided near New London township, was reportedly married to a Bethia Tubbs.
