- ↑ Bertie E Hooper, 91, of Bishop, CA, died Monday, October 20, 1997, at the Big Pine Care Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Uplands, CA Church of Christ. She was born in Tennessee, daughter of Alonzo and Lily Grubb Inklebarger.
Graveside services were held on October 25, 1997 at the Parl Lawn Memorial Park in Bell Gardens, CA. Survivors include one sister, Kate Bradley, and one brother, Earl Inklebarger, both of Boonville, AR, two daughters, Geneva Ray Franks of Sun City, CA and Wilma Jean Brown of Riverside, CA; one son, A, J. Hooper of Bishop, CA; 15 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dee Hooper; two daughters and three sons.
