BERTHA I. NICHOLSON Meyersdale Republican, November 10, 1966 

   Mrs. Bertha I. Nicholson, 64, Meyersdale RD 3, died at her home, Nov. 1.   Born Nov. 6, 1901, in Summit township, she was a daughter of the late  George and Missouri (Tressler) Swearman.    Surviving are her husband, Ralph E.; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Bertha Yoder, Meyersdale RD 1: two sons, Richard G., Johnstown; and Harold E., Meyersdale; also seven grand-children.   She was a sister of Mrs. George Werner, Mrs. James Hoffmeyer Sr., and Fred, all of Meyersdale; Mrs. Homer Boger, Meyersdale, RD 2; Ray Sechler and Robert, Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs. Robert Hay, Berlin RD; and George, Somerset.
   Mrs. Nicholson was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Romesberg, Rockwood; and Miss Minnie Swearman, Meyersdale.   A life long member of Summit Mills Brethren Church, she was also a member of its Senior Women's Missionary Society.  Funeral service was held in Summit Mills Brethren Church on Friday afternoon, with Rev. Roy Kreimes officiating.  Interment was made in St. Paul cemetery, in charge of Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
