Miss Bertha (Betty) G. Beal, 71, of 16 Decatur Street, died Sunday night in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient five weeks. Miss Beal operated the Damoselle Beauty Shop, 16 Decatur Street, the past 30 years. A native of Mt. Savage, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Aquila (Witt) Beal. Miss Beal was a member of the EUB Church of Wellersburg. Survivors include three brothers, Homer and Lester Beal, both of Wellersburg, and Ellsworth Beal, Corriganville; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Geiger, Mt. savage, and Miss Ethel Beal, this city, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Silcox Funeral Residence where the family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home tomorrow at 1 p.m. by Rev. Howard Smith, pastor of the EUB Church of Wellersburg. Interment will be in the Cook Cemetery in Wellersburg. Pallbearers will be nephews.
