RELIGION: Christian - Religious Society of Friends.

DEATH: Failed to recover from operation for a large abdominal aneurism. Was travelling to Scotland to attend his wife's (Jean) nephew's wedding. Taken ill on the train, he was taken directly to hospital where the operation was performed. He was a patient for two months before his death.

MISCELLANEOUS_NOTES: At one time lived in New Zealand. Returned there on a number of occasions in later life to look up old friends and acquaintances. Visited the Rogers family whilst in NSW in February, 1991. Photos were taken at Forestville and at Commodore Heights, West Head, NSW in 1991.
