OBITUARY (obtained from the Ancestry Message Board for Washington county, Vermont, dated 5 Nov 2000):

"Williamstown - Bernadette Rita Seaver, 76, of Meadow Street, died June 1, 2000 at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. She was born in St. Malo, Quebec, Canada June 6, 1923 the daughter of Eugene and Albertine (Viens) Duranleau. She attended Washington schools. On September 7, 1946 she married Guy R. Seaver in St. Sylvester Church in Graniteville. She belonged to St. Edward Church and its Ladies of St. Anne.

"Survivors include her husband of Williamstown; a daughter, Lucille Dente of Barre; three sons, Raymond and Paul both of Williamstown and Robert M. of Barre; two brothers, Normand Duranleau of East Barre and Jean-Paul Duranleau of Barre Town; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lucien Duranleau and a sister, Theresa Duranleau. Burial took place in Williamstown Village Cemetery."
