- ↑ BENNY A. RANDOLPH Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather LAWRENCE PARK TOWNSHIP--Benny A. Randolph Sr., 65, Lawrence Park Township, died Saturday, January 6, 2001, at his home, after a brief illness. Born May 10, 1935, in Rimersburg, he was a son of the late Lillian and Ord ALLEN Randolph Sr. He was married in 1953, in Beaver Falls, to Gloria LEWIS, who survives. Mr. Randolph worked at Erie City Iron Works, Zurn Energy Division, for 37 years, and Warren Steel and Supply off and on for many years. He was a member of the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the Tyrian Lodge 362, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Jerusalem Council No. 33, Mount Olivet Commandery No. 30, the Carl Neff American Legion Post 571 and the Lawrence Park Athletic Club. Mr. Randolph loved racing motorcycles and was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Benny A. Randolph Jr. and his wife, Paula, of Wesleyville, and Paul A. Randolph and his wife, Susan, of Millcreek; two daughters, Joslyn "Jo" F. DOMBROSKI and her husband, Charles, and Terry L. VOGEL and her husband, David, all of Harborcreek; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Also surviving are his step-mother, Mary Randolph of Rimersburg; two brother, James Randolph and his wife, Phyllis, of Harborcreek and Ord Allen Randolph Jr. and his wife, Roxie, of Rimersburg; three sisters, Shirley NULPH of Climax, Linda ANTHONY and her husand Rudy, of Rimersburg, and Lesa HOOVER and her husband, Jeff, of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (today), January 9, in the Dusckas Funeral Home Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road, Erie. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, in the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church, 4015 Niagara Place, Lawrence Park. The Rev. Randy Roda will officiate. Interment will be private.
