Aaron was Benjamin's ninth and youngest child. Benjamin was appointed 11/4/1719 by the General Court to survey and allot lands of the new towns of Lunenburg and Littleton. He was the wealthiest of all the early Whittemores with an estate of almost 1700 pounds. He was a Selectman from 1707 to 1724, and a Representative to the General Court for nearly all that time.
