On the 1860 census he is listed as age 21, Farmer, born in Michigan. He became a registered voter September 24, 1860.We didn't find him after that date. His stepfather died 2 June 1875. Could there have been an accident and they were both deceased or did Benjamin leave the area? Since Michigan doesn't show Benjamin on any census records after that it is possible that he left for Canada. This family moved quite a bit.
