NOTE: Some sources say Pomfret Connecticut One source has a Benjamin Sutton born 1698 -- it is possible that the Benjamin born in 1694 died in infancy and that the Benjamin who married Sarah was the one born in 1698 in Pomfret.
  2. The fact that his inventory and the guardianship of his minor children was handled by Connecticut courts, it seems to me that he was probably only temporarily in Maryland when he died and it was not his permanent residence.
