  2. Benjamin Frank Puckett, 77, former Xenian, died at his home in Dayton
    Friday morning. He had been an invalid five years, his condition
    becoming serious within the past few weeks.

    The Puckett family resided in Xenia for several years before moving to
    Dayton. Mr. Puckett was well known throughout Greene County.

    He is survived by his widow, five children, Earl W., Columbus; Roy E.,
    Portland, Ore.; Russell S., Hamilton; Mrs. Leo Deger, Chicago, and
    Mrs. Homer Chambliss, Dayton, and a sister, Mrs. E. A. Thornhill,
    Sabina. A daughter, Vesta, died while the family resided in Xenia and
    a son, Jack, was killed in France during the World War.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at the Schlientz and Moore Funeral
    Home, Wayne Ave., Dayton, Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial
    will be made in Woodland Cemetery, this city.
