pg 59: "Henry, after returning for a brief period to live in the old house of Newtown at the foot of the hill on which Gilbinstown stands, left there and went with his family to Sallymount in 1816 (see Map 55) and a few years later to Quebec, Canada with his wife and children. The history of this family is continued on p. 62 but it is interesting to note here that [charts on pgs 60, 61] PG 62: his son Benjamin eventually returned to live in the old home of Newtown and died there in 1878. Pg 63: "Benjamin Plowman, born 1802, son of Henry Plowman and Maria, was married at Malahide, Ontario in 1841 to Mrs. Luke Kent (nee Jane Backhouse), a widow with six children. She died, aged 94, in 1899. Benjamin later returned to Ireland and took up the threads of his former life in the old home of Newtown, Dunlavin. During this period, his wife, not caring for Ireland, returned to Canada and made her home there. Benjamin passed away at the age of 76 in 1878, and was buried in the Old Church Yard of Dunlavin. His only daughter Anne, married Cornelius Kent and lived at Kenton, Ontario." References
