Biography

On August 16, 1863, one of Benjamin's steamers he built exploded, killing 3 people instantly.. Samuel W Barrows, his son Charles and William H Mineere, and injured 2 who died later on due the the injuries.. William D Ward and William B Fish. B. (Elijah Baldwin) pg 349under his second wife Juliette Augusta (Huntington) Bonner. Juliette and Benjamin never had any children. Juliette did have two children (Julia & Estelle) from her 1st husband James Bonner.
