Taken from The Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine, Vol. 5, No. 2 p. 189-190: Benjamin Harlan, a passenger on board the brig Nancy, from St. Eustatia, bound to Philadelphia, declared to John Black of Philadelphia, merchant, that he gave to his brother Jos: Harlan, half the sloop Martha and Mary; cousin Ezeakil Leonard, woodland adjoining Benjamin Taylors; executors Benjamin Taylor and William Harlan; legacies to sister Ruth and sister Elizabeth White; nephew Ezeakil Harlan son of Ezeakil; the above was declared on or about August first, and he died the third day after giving instructions; administration to Joseph Harlan of Wilmington, merchant, and William White, yeoman, August 24, 1752.
